Expedite collection of receivables while maintaining positive customer relations. Perform credit duties within assigned areas of responsibility.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Three to five year’s collection experience.
  2. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
  3. Excellent customer service skills
  4. Ability to deal with negative situations with a positive attitude
  5. Computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft word and excel
  6. Traveling to area branch locations required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Obtain and investigate credit information for the approval process by the credit manager
  2. Coordinate and expedite collection of all receivables within assigned area
  3. Initiate write-offs of uncollectible receivables
  4. File mechanic and bond liens, maintains customer insurance database
  5. Assist and arrange the repossession and sale of equipment when necessary
  6. Complete credit references on customers
  7. Respond to customer requests within assigned area
  8. Interact with the sales, service, parts departments with regards to customer credit needs
  9. Process customer invoices on approval 3rd party billing systems
  10. Set up new customer accounts
  11. Perform all other duties as assigned
