As Manager of Business Analysts, you will lead a team responsible for identifying, documenting, and delivering technology-enabled process improvements that align with company strategy. Your role will lead the delivery of technology-enabled solutions that drive digital transformation, improve business agility, and support long-term strategic growth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a coaching mindset, and a proactive approach to value delivery.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Business Analysts to align with Information Systems (IS) and organizational objectives.
Communicate proficiently in both written and verbal forms across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into strategic insights. Serve as a key liaison to stakeholders, providing regular updates on roadmap progress, risk mitigation strategies, and business impact of IS initiatives.
Manage internal team budgets and partner/vendor cost estimates, including software, support, and project hours.
Act as a primary facilitator for digital transformation initiatives across departments, aligning business requirements with contemporary technologies, automation, and data-driven decisions.
Establish robust partnerships with business stakeholders to ensure IS initiatives support operational excellence.
Provide internal consulting and facilitate collaborative problem-solving among business users, IS, and vendors.
Advocate for and implement process improvements, standardization, and innovation across various functions.
Oversee the execution of IS roadmap deliverables for cross-departmental projects.
Ensure that systems and data integrations meet long-term business requirements and adhere to established standards.
Maintain a high level of discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information, demonstrating initiative, integrity, and accountability in all assigned areas.
Possess extensive working knowledge of ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics D365.
Report regularly to executive leadership on IS performance metrics, transformation milestones, and strategic alignment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead change management efforts by coordinating communication, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure successful implementation of new systems and processes.
Translate business strategies into process maps, user stories, use cases, and requirements.
Monitor roadmap progress, highlighting risks or delays early.
Oversee UAT planning and execution with user validation and signoff.
Promote continuous improvement through continuous improvement teams.
Ensure alignment and benefits realization with project sponsors and stakeholders, incorporating structured change management practices to support adoption and sustainment.
Prioritize and maintain a backlog of IS change requests and new feature proposals.
Lead regular roadmap meetings with stakeholders.
Align resources with IS development, infrastructure, and security teams.
Train team members on best practices and system tools.
Identify performance gaps and create action plans.
Act as an escalation point for unresolved requirements or misalignment issues.
Build and leverage team and project owner capabilities.
Plan and execute end-user acceptance testing as a liaison between technical leads and users.
Be curious and result-oriented, solving problems proactively.
Drive innovation, make critical decisions, and deliver consistent results.
Communicate effectively with diverse global teams, vendors, and clients.
Assess emerging technologies and foster innovative thinking within the team to expedite digital capabilities and improve both customer and employee experience.
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a quantitative field like Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or Finance.
BONUS:
Lead the migration from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 to Microsoft Dynamics D365.
5+ years experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
Experience leading Agile teams.
Six Sigma or Master Black Belt experience.
Project Management experience or certifications (e.g., PMP or CAPM, or CBAP).
5-10 years' experience as a Business Analyst / Business Specialist.
