REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering or equivalent industry experience Sales/Marketing preferred
  2. Ability to climb on and inspect equipment
  3. Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English
  4. Ability to travel with overnight stays
  5. Ability to operate a PC (Windows, Excel, & Word)
  6. Possess a valid driver’s license

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:      

  1. Call 40 low par prospects each week, qualify leads, enter the information in Sales Link and pass the information to the DSRs.
  2. Handle walk-in customers and be able quote and close deals with walk-in customers who are not currently being called on by an MSR.
  3. Work with the DSRs when an existing customer comes to the store to look at machinery.
  4. Assist the RSM and DSRs with sales documentation, including but not limited to: RPOs, Loaners and Emails in AX
  5. Assist the DSRs with locating and transporting machines for rentals, sales, demos and loans.
  6. Utilize CFSC quote express software for deal velocity.
  7. Ability to understand and utilize AX, Sales Link and other company software.
  8. Obtain estimates from Service Departments for machine modifications.
  9. Work with credit and accounts payable to assist in the resolution of customer issues.
  10. Perform all tasks in a professional, accurate, and timely manner, meeting designated completion deadlines with limited supervision.
  11. Actively participate in sales training, ride with MSRs at the direction of the RSM and develop selling skills.
  12. Advise the RSM of customer problems or complaints.
  13. Accommodate customer emergency needs during non-scheduled work days/hours.
  14. Maintain confidentiality regarding company information.
  15.  Recommend to manager ideas to improve the department’s operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes
  16. Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code
  17.  Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly
  18. Follow all work, safety rules, and procedures
  19. Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
