Boyd Company is looking for an additional Advertising & Marketing Specialist to add to our growing team. The role of the Advertising & Marketing Specialist is to develop and execute customer-facing marketing campaigns on earned, owned and paid media, including Social Media, digital campaigns, email marketing and website properties to drive leads and opportunities for the rental and sale of equipment, parts and services. Position will also lead internal communications as needed. In addition, this position will support the Marketing Director on other key initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree, Background, or Experience in Marketing, Advertising or equivalent experience
  2. 5-7 years’ experience in Communication, Advertising, Promotions, or equivalent experience
  3. Experience in working with email automation
  4. Strong verbal, written, persuasion, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  5. Excellent organizational and computer skills
  6. Experience working in CRM, preferable Microsoft Dynamics
  7. Knowledge of customer acquisition and retention strategies
  8. Confident and articulate and able to inspire and engage others
  9. Ability to translate insights into actionable marketing recommendations
  10. Excellent time and project management skills, with the ability to manager detail work and communicate project status effectively to all levels
  11. Knowledge of Google Analytics, online and email KPIs, Social Media analytics
  12. Willingness to learn, be trained and coach
  13. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
  14. Able to communicate with team members and customers
  15. Good working knowledge of necessary technology and its application
  16. Highly self-directed
  17. Ability to work independently or in a team environment

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Develop and execute a formalized communication process with key stakeholder on marketing campaigns
  2. Develops and executes internal engagement and culture communications strategy that maintains morale and builds one great team
  3. Develop enterprise level marketing communications strategy for organization, as well as communication strategies for individual lines of business
  4. Manage content and functionality of company website
  5. Develop media strategy, and identify and build relationships with relevant media outlets in Company markets
  6. With the Marketing Director, develop a Social Media strategy for company
  7. Develop and execute content strategy for all company business lines
  8. Manage opt-in and execution of Social Media content from OEM partners
  9. Provide direction and training, as needed, to internal stakeholders on Social Media strategy
  10. Manage and appropriately handle any postings, DMs and reviews posted on our social sites
  11. Utilize Microsoft Dynamics CRM to develop email campaigns and campaign landing pages
  12. Project a positive image by interacting with employees, customers, and management
  13. Recommend to manager ideas to improve the departments operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes
  14. Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code
  15. Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly
  16. Travel to other locations as required to perform assigned duties, maintaining a valid operator’s license
  17. Follow all work, safety rules, and procedures
  18. Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
