DESCRIPTION: 

The Customer Fleet Specialist plays a key role in the development, management, and implementation of aftermarket marketing strategy through the execution of Customer Value Agreement (CVAs). The role will be responsible for performing product update, equipment inspections and updating customer records. The ultimate goal of this position is to ensure customers realize the full benefit of CVAs and perform light service work to equipment

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
  2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience
  3. Maintain a valid motor vehicle operators' license
  4. Travel to branches or other locations as required to perform assigned duties
  5. Overnights stays may be required to complete position responsibilities and duties
  6. Maintain a high degree of discretion in handling confidential/sensitive information and exercise initiative in all assigned areas, high integrity and accountability standards
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills, and written and verbal communication skills
  8. Able to communicate with team members and customers
  9. Good working knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, word processing programs
  10. Highly self-directed
  11. Ability to work independently or in a team environment with rapidly changing priorities and demands

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Monitor Customer Fleets that are enrolled in CVAs to ensure services are performed as needed
  2. Communicated information to PM Dispatch for proper service scheduling
  3. Perform service letters as needed on customer equipment
  4. First point of contact for installing and maintenance of Product Link devices
  5. Perform equipment inspections using CAT inspect
  6. Communicate with customer on scheduling and inspection findings
  7. Perform basic Preventive Maintenance services on customer equipment
  8. Coordinator Service Letter completion with General Service and Technical Communicators
  9. Perform remote flashing and troubleshooting on capable equipment
  10. Responsible to ensure dealer ERP is maintained and updated based on PSE closer reasons related to customer and equipment population
  11. Attend trainings both locally and at CAT facilities as needed and required
  12. Recommend to manager ideas to improve the departments operating procedures or business practices and participate in and support continuous improvement of all related activities and processes
  13. Project a positive image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner; display a professional attitude; comply with company dress code
  14. Create and maintain good communications (verbally and in writing) and relationships with other Company departments, branches, employees, outside vendors, and customers by addressing and resolving concerns quickly
  15. Follow all work, safety rules, and procedures
  16. Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
